Generating Targets
Currently only enemy lists and support lists determine the targets added to your target list. We are thinking about adding a 'Never Target' list that any position can add to to avoid attacking KAS for example. And maybe the option to drop enemy lists in certain systsems of your choice.

Locking Targets
The targets chosen from your Target List are only determined on size of the positions. We are thinking about adding:
-Target Priority Order: Thats will give the option of position type to target. Are their any other options that need adding to that order ?
-Lock Target Order: That will allow specific targets to be chosen from your target list - but I'm not sure which target should be bumped.

Some more flexible targeting options will certainly add some more variety to battle plans. I can also see that being able to set your enemy lists to automatically drop in certain systems, and then go back up again as soon as you leave that system, could be very useful (as long as people use the option!).

By position type, I assume you mean starship/starbase/groundparty?

Would it be possible to base the target priority on the ship types coded into the game (destroyer/high g freighter/capital ship, etc.)?

This would certainly add some "flavour" to the battles - use some of your fast ships to intercept the enemy's fast ships (Gun Boats), while using others to nip in and attack their Heavy Carriers, etc.

This is just a thought, as I'm not exactly the most experienced battle commander :-).

Should the Defend list not constitute a Never-Target-List?

Also, any chance for Inverted list entries (i.e. enemy=all EXCEPT those on this list)?
