| Hi All I don't have a PC at home and play Pheonix at work. It is possible to get a paper copy of all the rule books? Would not mind paying for this. Taking me ages at the mo to sort turns as I have to keep flicking between the online rules and order editor. Dave | |||

Eeeh... Your office might have an printer somewhere?? So why not download the PDF files and print them out???

| They do have printers but they don't take kindly to printing personal stuff | |||

They don't mind you playing games though eh? ;) Seriously though, I'm not sure I would bother. I printed the things out when they first came out, bound them in little plastic folder things and everything. Since then just about everything I've needed to check on has been wrong. :( I only realised the other day in fact that outposts pay 1.5 times wages rather than 2x as the rulebooks say...

| Perhaps you could just print off a few pages at a time, so no one will notice...that's how I did it! | |||

Well I can manage to print off my turns (But only have 4 positions each about 3-4 pages) May have to come in for overtime on Sunday when no one is about and do a mass print then

After the screwup of the visiting accountant from our HQ (which printed some 100 pages, with only lines on it) I realized that it would be fair to use up that paper to print out my two rulebooks, so I put it back into to printer/copier/fax/scanner-whatever-thingie and printed my bunch out. She started to complain and then I looked mean at her showing some of the paper with the lines and then she was suddenly silent :-) She was silent for an couple of days as I kept some of the paper to show her when she was complaining about 'Spending too much". Was a bit fun. <g> But to be fair, in some companies people don't have the possibility to print something out that easily, but I am sure that if you ask it nicely nobody would object. Companies waste normally much more money on time spend at the coffeemachine then you can spend printing out some papers.

| Alternatively get a USB memory stick for £30 and stick all the order editor, rule books etc etc on there, that way it stays off your work PC. You can also then use any PC to do your turns as long as it has an internet connection. Andy | |||

Be warned that the order editor writes stuff to the registry of the computer that you run it on. This should be safe but it does leave a marker on the PC which it was run.

| I use the online order editor at work that seems the absolute perfect use for it. (During breaks only of course, you understand ;) ) |
