Due to the a peculiar twist of circumstances the November pubmeet will be held at the Sandhurst depending on numbers.

This nice hotel is £18 per night + £2 for the buffet.

12 rooms, sleeps 29, but 18 beds so before we commit it is best to know how many blokes fleeing the missus/couples will be attending. biggrin.gif

There are alternatives that are more geared up for stag/hen events, i.e. fully single beds and we have an understanding with the owners should we need to move venue (round the corner as it happens).

I will be on holiday for 2 weeks, so this should give plenty of time for discussion in order to make sure that we have the best hotel for our needs.

Everything is absolutely tickety-boo. No problems with anything, just phone the hotel and book. Even if you have just had a row with the wife and need to get away, simply turn up on the day. If needs be, we also have the hotel next-door and across the road.

I expect much of this pub-meet will concern infrastructure (at least for David and me). We are writing up a number of proposals and possible options - essentially collating the various ideas that have not been totally dismissed as either game-killers or far too fluffy to be implemented.

For most of the attendees, the rest of the time will be concerned with beer, alliances, trade and technology deals, beer, possibly some board games and not forgetting, beer. biggrin.gif
