I did some turns for a couple of cargo ships and sent them off, but missed the cutoff point so they didn't get processed (which is fine happy.gif). However later i noticed that one of the trades i was going to do didn't exsist anymore and so i sent in new orders; assuming that, like the online editor, it would use them instead (i even added a clear pending just in case) however the ship appears to have done only the first set of orders sad.gif

So my question is how do you cancel orders you've sent in?

I think the system uses the first turn for a position that it finds during any one processing session. Any additional turns submitted for the same position are ignored on the basis that the position has already been run that day.

So basically you can't change orders submitted. I once lost a ship due to a typo that I tried to correct with a second turn. mad.gif

This is one of the joys of automated turn processing. Programming to pickup up correction turns sounds difficult. They would certainly need to be flagged as such.

I'd be happy to just have the last set of turns (that have the correct password etc etc) processed, then worst case you could just submit a blank turn of the postition to cancel all orders smile.gif

I'll just have to be more careful in the future

Are we talking emailed turns here?

I have successfully (when I was using emailed turns rather than direct transfer) changed/cancelled orders submitted by a second (or third) send set of turns - on quite a few occasions. I sent the changes after the original orders but still before the deadline (obviously) so I always assumed that it takes the latest email in precedence of any previous ones.

Is there a chance the second orders didn't arrive?

(For the direct transfer (offline editor) I often send changed orders and they have always (so far) overwritten the previous ones.)

Like Steve I have also done this multiple times with great success. Both with e-mailed turns and the offline editor upload.

Hmm i guess it's possible, although the position was listed twice in the processing turns email so i assumed that it arrived.

I've updated orders both with upload and via the online editor correctly, it was just my last set of email orders didn't work (i don't often need to email orders in anyway)
