| This may have been discussed before but I find the TU costs for transactions unsatisfactory....so apologies if it is an issue that is wearing thin... To me it doesn't seem right that picking up (or buying/selling etc) 5000 MU's of one item should be quicker than picking up say 20 MU's of a couple of items. I can appreciate that each item type may need to be stored and handled seperately, but I do think that the TU cost should at least factor in the number of MU's being shifted as well as the number of seperate items. In my view a system where there is a base cost of say 4 TU's per transaction and then something like an additional 1 TU/500 MU's (rounding up) would make more sense. Perhaps the initial transaction of 4 TU's could be used for upto 500 MU's I think that this would make trading in small quantities more worthwhile and thus help encourage trade in unique items in particular I guess a similar system could be used for installing/uninstalling equipment - only with a higher base cost and perhaps a smaller number of MU's between each step-up. |
