Hi, Can outposts build resource complexes? I was under the impression that they could, but there's a player on the mailing lists who reports that he can't:

I've definitely managed it

The outpost in question is in orbit. Positions in orbit have complex limits as do positions in space. Certain worlds may even place restrictions on which complexes can be built.

In this case, then, it would be good to have an error message that explains why that particular outpost can't build that particular complex.

Presumably he's attempting to exploit a resource in the orbit that an earlier special action has identified as being there. Asuming that that is the case (and without the full story as to why he can't build the complex in this instance) I find this a possible concern. If it's something along the lines of not having the right precursor complexes present then that might be reasonable. Mikhail - SMS |
