Hi,

Discovered a flaw with the current setup in Operative/Agents orders for removing positions from enemy lists. The example below should illustrate the point pretty clearly.

>TU 300: Acquire Information {5}
Acquiring ground enemy list information.
Ground enemy list:
All CNF(65)
All CIA(64)
All BHD(63)
All IND(14)
Total TU cost for this action is 50

>TU 250: Remove from List {4} {64}
Starbase detected our actions.
Position 64 was not on the starbase's Ground Enemy list.
Total TU cost for this action is 50
This action cost you 500 stellars

Nobody posts individual positions, they do entire affs. Thus the "Remove from Enemy List" order is completely useless. After discussing this with Mica it was felt that removing an entire aff from an enemy list was a bit OTT and unrealistic. What we need is an order that adds a position to a colonies "Don't shoot at" list. This can be looked at as having forged security codes or a copy of the current one (i.e Return of the Jedi and getting the shuttle down onto Endor) and hope that they have not been updated before making your run ph34r.gif

Another useful feature of a "Don't shoot at" list is that affs like the FET can still have ALL IND on their enemy lists but add in traders that they trust or are doing work for them.
