If I am in a neutral starport then add the starport to the enemy list, will this immediately trigger a battle? If not then what should I do?

Starbases/outposts have a "Trigger Battle" command - shouldn't other positions have the same?

If it's put on the enemy list it should force a battle. The trigger is in the ay I see it, a way to force a battle even if the otehr side isn't officially an enemy. Like a neutral, but not much liked aff ship landing on a restricted base. I can wipe it out and not consider the aff an enemy.

Hiya I don;t think thats workign though. I had a ship above my starbase that had been there far too long doing naff all and then I added the ship to my enemy list and it did nothing, theonly way I coulf get it to trigger was by scannign the location and a trigger battle order. I thought it would have know what was above it and taken appropriate action. Phil

It only does the trigger by scanning the location. I think this is only relevent for ground attack - and could be covered by a Ground assault order. Then it could set the 'never flee' and the ground tactic at the same time. It could be done as part of an enemy list setting but i'm a little worried by this as you would have to do a scan to see whats there and that should cost tus.... setting the enemy list and scanning location should start are battle. |
