Whilst wizzing to the rescue of some poor sap, I decided to create a GP ready for action apon arival...
But, this GP is not automatically created IN the ship, but outside the ship. The ship sails on, arrives at it's destination and realises that it has lost its cargo. Which is now floating in space. 1 little alien all on his own. Miles from anywhere! So. Should GPs created by a ship automatically be Embarked to start with? What if you're on a planet? Embarked or not? Should there be a flag to say "Create GP INSIDE ship?" so you have the choice? I actually found this quite ammusing, but it has put me a day behind schedule, and will cost me an extra $1000 to create a new GP where I want it. Going back for the other one will now take me an extra week! Clay | |||||

Oh, the Humanity! Have you considered renaming him Frank Poole? Ran into this myself - but in my case, it was in the orbit of a friendly planet, so the Shuttles could bring the git back in.
It would seem that way - if you create a GP at a Starbase, it's automatically docked with that starbase. If you create an Operative aboard a ship, it's automatically docked with the ship in question. I would think that it should work the same way with GP's... Cheers, Rich Fanning aka Lord Lawrence Scrimm CIA Intelligence Director |
