| I have for a while now been trading like all of phoenix Common Goods and Unique Goods could all fall into catagories of how valueable they are to each race, like a current race unique item. 4 Ratings should be possible to add. 1. Not wanted, race is not interested in this current item. 2. Partial interest, will buy at half value. 3. Interested in item, will buy at normal value. (currently average feature) 4. Wanted items, will buy these at higher value. (like the current % rating of the planet) This would mean many items suddenly more useful on planets you might not even be on or have access too, so leaving you with the i can do it for average value or trade it to someone else at higher income. All races could be fixed in with items, they would like and stuff, we could even discuss the basic item type each race would like, on the trade forum. cheers Dan | |||

| Isn't there something already in the pipeline to sort out the current trading problems? I thought that local pops were going to grow board of a certain item type if they ere over - exposed to it or something like that? | |||

| I just got this result from a starbase: Date 48.4: Sell to Local Population {500} {822} Human Civillian (500) have a value at their source of 1 stellars per mu. The planet's current market value is 0.48 stellars per mu. Human Civillian (500) attracts more attention from Human (+39.26%). You sold 822 Human Civillians (500) to the population, receiving 552 stellars. Looks like there is a racial aspect to selling lifeforms in the game already! Darren | |||

Can confirm that civillians value can vary from planet to planet...
This is a planet populated by Wimbles, so not suprisingly, they prefer Wimbles. Bit upset that Flagritz are considered the same value as scummy Naplians | |||

| I agree, the flagritz do seem a bit over priced | |||

| The problem is not that its already in the game, but more that there is only a few items classed as it, more racial items would be nice, as we dont all have all kinds of planets and even if you do, then dont all races have good planets as well, so making most items racial would mean more trade. | |||

| I like to add, that currently does it look bad for trade in that most of us, are trying to secure starbase locations in other peripheries, so to trade with ourselves, that is not what trading actually means So we really need most items to be racially classed | |||

| My understanding is that the whole planetary economy thing where you can influence the locals and build up civilian populations etc is the next major addition for the game. Its implementation is running late due to various factors but should be with us reasonably soon (next few months). I'd guess that all these racial/local factors will either be included in that update or be a tag on once its up and running. |
