When you recieve a nice little massage on an outpost/starbase turn stating that an agent or operative has been captured and interogated....... what happens to them? I would think that they (the item) should become automatically re-classified as a prisoner and added to your inventory.
Acording to this he wasn't killed, so in my opinion he/she should now be an item in my starbase so I can do with him as I wish. Or her - got the controlling position, but not the agents name ![]() I'm sure there are lots of things we can think of to do with these captured agents - and the item for the agent is already in the game, so a new one isn't created. Some beings might eat them, burn them, imprison them for ever, turn them into slaves.... And some mad fool might even try to rescue their favorite agent! ![]() Is this easy to impliment??

The difference between Agents and Operatives is that the former are not actually an item but genreally attached to the staff of a starbase/outpost. Depending on the circumstances you could even say that it is not one employee in particular who is the agent, but a number of people contribute small innocent bits of information which only combined gives the big picture. Many WWII agents and later KGB agents in western Europe did nothing else but collect freely available information and piece it together. It is hard to identify and root out such a system and in the end you may not have an actual culprit. Operatives, as far as I know, can be captured and will then end up as prisoners on the starbase report.

The rulebook for agents and operatives states that "The loyalty of operatives is unquestionable. They have been through various mind-altering procedures such that they would rather die than give away their employer. As such all carry (and are capable of making use of) instant suicide devices. These are generally organic neurotoxins held by calcium-based nanites in the brainstem although there are no doubt a great many other methods of instant death." Shouldn't this make it impossible for them to be captured and interrogated? Darren |
