Hi,

I am wondering what happens if you build a ship and lack certain items specified in the ship BP. Will the ship be built anyway, but lacking those items the starbase didn't have? Then the starbase could install those items later on the ship, or?

If it's hulls or armour, you get nothing, otherwise it gets built with empty spaces

If you're missing Arour (and Hulls?) then building will be delayed. It will re-attempt to construct the ship each week until you either provide all the Armour/Hulls or cancel the ship.

If you are missing internal items (weapons, engines etc) then it will build anyway, and tell you what is missing. If you provide those items before the ship is complete (have them in the starbase inventory) then they are fitted in last - I think!! Not tested this bit tongue.gif
If you never provide those items, them it will build the ship with holes where those items should go, and you'll have to install them manually afterwards - taking the Inegrity loss that comes with that.
