I hear that owning a platform, not governed by a platform control complex, will lead to a drop in battle efficiency.? If this is so, can it be offset in some way.? I want to build a platform, and ship it to another location. Doing so will seperate it form its command complex, if this reduces efficiency, is there perhaps some 'mobile command array' that could be built into the game. A command complex, which is delivered and installed to the platform, offsetting the drop in efficiency perhaps with added efficiency being relative to the number of portable command centres. (Or whatever you might call it) Another reason for this, could be that a platform in orbit of your base is defended form WoMD by your IRS field. A Platform shipped away form your base does not have this advantage, and a portable command module/complex/array could also protect form Nuclear attacks.... Sorry if very poor explanation. Platforms can be moved away from their parent base without penalty to their efficiency. Platforms have protection against nuclear attack, similar to that provided by an ISR field. |
