| Does anyone know the modifiers for each hull type / mk with regards to patches please? (Well obviously David does, but I know he's busy lately) (It's been changed right, but wasn't sure if it had all been decided yet) I have: Heavy Hulls = * 5 Normal Hulls = * 0.5 Light/XLight = * 0.1 Is that right? What about higher Mks? What about Crystaline? Organic? | |||

| I've just checked the announcement made with the changes (1st of June SSS 204 week 22 day 2) the patch requirements are per hull per integrity point... the higher hulls and different materials make a difference to the integrity loss per week, not the amount of patches you need to restore the integrity. It does of course make a difference to patches per week of "normal" operation for a ship combining Patches per hull per integrity point and percentage loss per week gives XL 0.4 L 0.2 N 0.5 H 2.5 (patches per week per hull) then you can multiply these by the material, mark and integrity stabilser modifiers Organic hulls x0.8 Crystal hulls x1.2 Mk2 hulls x0.9 Mk3 hulls x0.8 Mk4 hulls x0.7 IS Mk1 x0.95 IS Mk2 x0.90 IS Mk3 x0.85 IS Mk4 x0.80 of course, it doens't take into account integrity losses for other reasons - installation/removal, space hazards, manoeuvres etc. Dan | |||

| Excellent thanks! (I just wanted to calculate the patches needed for a given ship/integrity) So the amounts of patches needed to repair a ship integrity isn't affected by hull mk or material? | |||

| A have a tool that does the job at http://homepage.ntlworld.com/verisimilitud...maintenance.zip - excel file. | |||

Yeah, I used that to check what I had :) Is there no more to it than that then? (What about organic or crystaline hulls was my main concern..) I'm actually working on a stand alone (non-excel) calculator that brings in all the different Phoenix Calculations in one application. (If anyone is interested in helping me test/develop it just drop me a PM or email, you're more than welcome.) | |||

| Pretty much yep, not anything more as far as I'm aware. Things like integrity stabilisers, hull type and hull marque are only used to determine the rate of integrity loss, not the actual number of patches required to fix. At least, as mentioned, this as far as I can tell from the various calculations. Had a mare even trying to work out that basic maintenance calculator, so good luck with the 'global' calculator |
