Hi have received a player report for my new Political position. On this report there is a field called 'Political'. Can someone please explain the purpose of this field and/or its proper use. I guess the Votes = 0 field means, that I need to develop some political/referential influence levels. ![]()

The votes are given (or rather may be given) to you by your affilation, well by your pd really i guess. They are for voting on affilation issues. i think it's the 'value' you have when you vote for something (ie in my case as i have 2 votes i assume when i vote for something it will have twice as much behind it as someone with 1 vote) as opposed to being a thing you use up. However as i've never voted so far i'm not certain

Political ranks are assigned by politicals higher up in your affiliation. There are five different political ranks, with 0, 1, 2, 4 and 8 votes. The names of the ranks vary from affiliation to affiliation (they can be set by the PD). These votes are weightings when voting on affiliation issues. So the PD (top rank) has 8 votes, and thus it takes 9 people with second-rank politicals (i.e. 1-vote politicals) to outvote the PD. The "Political:" field shows the actual in-game item that is your political character. So for example, mine shows "Political: Audrey Firesong (12345)", meaning that my political position is linked to a lifeform called Audrey Firesong, item number 12345, who will show up as an item at one of my starbases, or on one of my ships, or wherever she may happen to be. (Obviously the number of my political has been changed for security reasons - but we know from the market reports that the RIP PD is Hellscream (41494) ![]() Richard AFT PD
