Should starbases that have their location listed on the "markets" page be "known" for the purposes of moving to them? It seems odd that this doesn't appear to be the case.

They only become known if you visit them (which is true of everything except info transfers). Its intensional to avoid every publically know SB ending up on ppls information unless they bother to visit them. It allows ppl to remove the public flag and not have th e location of the SB perminantly known.

However you can move to any public SB even though they are not on your 'know' list.

What about the starbases, which have a market, but don't have a location listed on their market.

Can we use the 'move to starbase' oreder for these? (assuming we've not been to them previously).

Erm that depends. If they are public yes, but that not related to them showing their location. So move to starbase may or may not work sad.gif Most of this is done in favour of the starbase - but you have to be awair of it.... not sure what is best.

As for droping operatives - you can providing the starbase is public as it checked as part of the 'know starbase' check. However if you have no operative there and th4e starbases goes to private you will not know where it is.
