Ok, this one should be fairly simple, but I just don't know it!
Ok, so you get credited 60 TU's each day.
My question is do the TU's get credited BEFORE or after the turn?

For example if the report I receive on Monday says I have 20 TU's left, can I send orders in that will use up to 80 TU's and be successful? This is what would happen if it is added before the turn.

Taking it one step further, am I right in thinking then that if one Monday my report says I have 20TU's left, and I send orders in that say "Wait for 40 TUS" (not exact), then will this be actioned on the Tuesday, or does Phoenix take the number from Mondays report, (20) and decide to wait an extra day?

To cut a long story short, does it add the 60 TU's before or after processing the orders?

Thanks,

SWK

i either use the wait for TU now or do the orders and click request update on it as well, so they are run next day or later in the week, depending on what i want.

Its the only way i know of to be sure they are done as i want them.

You can definatly send in orders to assume 60 more tus than your last printout said (ie when it says 20 you can use the 80 the next day), and as far as I can tell this is also the case in wait for tus, but i don't use that order that much just tend to keep track of how many tus I have.

Various hostile ships know i often make mistakes and leave my ships all over the place cause of it though tongue.gif

Hi,

In my own experience, I have determined that the 60 TU's are allocated at the start of each day. Many, many times I have used this fact to facilitate order capture.

Use of the "Wait for x Tu's (not exact)" is useful only if the current TU level plus the next days allocation is insufficient to complete the next order in sequence.

The most important singular advantage of the "Wait for x TU's" is that a daily report is generated which helps a great deal in minimizing guesswork as to the exact state of a position. This will happen until the "Wait for TU's" command has been completely satisfied.

In contrast to the above, if a current order (other than "Wait for TU's" spans more than one day, no automatic reports are generated. If you determine that an order will in fact span more than one day to complete, then it is worthwhile to insert a "Wait for 1 TU's (not exact)" command to force an update of that position.

In fact, the notes above I apply as common practice. That way I always have an idea of what is happening with my positions.
