| Each Phalanx launcher has two shots per round of combat and uses 2 MU of phalanx missiles accordingly. I have a couple of questions here: 1. How *exactly* does the targeting work? If I have 5 phalanxes this gives me up to 10 shots. Or should that read: Up to 10 shots? - How is it determined how many Phalanx shots are fired? - Does each launcher target separately? - Will a launcher always fire both shots? - Is every laucher capable of retargeting on the second shot if its first target was destroyed? - Do launchers sequence after each other and fire on a given target until it is destroyed (important for big targets like space bombers)? 2. Further, what happens if I have only 1 MU of Phalanx missiles left? Will a phalanx be able to fire one single shot or will it refuse to fire due to insufficient ammo? Does it make sense to carry odd amounts of Phalanx Missiles? |
