| With the introduction of combat transactions triggering skirmish battles, a standing order to not transact with positions in combat would be useful. This would be very useful for ships on long hauls turning up in a fire zone and then being blown up when they try to deliver the usual amount of modules or pick up ore from the outpost etc. | |

| Are you impling that currently if you transact with a position in combat you are drawn into battle? If so then i think the default should be no transaction and you have a standing order to allow it. If not then what exactly would issuing the order prevent? | |

| Yup, that's exactly what happens. I lost a caravel recently when it tried to pick up from a pirate vessel that I expected to have been reduced to debris. It hadn't been reduced to debris when the turn ran, and it triggered a battle where all of the friendly and allied vessels present destroyed my Caravel because it was attempting to interact with a vessel under fire. While the pirate ran for it. Not my most glorious moment. | |

| In that case i think the order is required But would suggest it defaults to stopping people doing the silly thing and getting blown up | |

| Not bothered about the default setting, so long as it is clearly listed on the position. | |
