This seems to happen 2-4 times a week.

I attempt to look up info to do my turns and my browser comes back with:
Firefox can't find server at ccgi.kjcgames.com. Tried w/1 c and same results.
Tried with IE and received same results.

The forums can be found, but they are not hosted apparently on the same server as the game programs.

When I queried Registar.com, I received this strange message back (note: all bold items are my marking)

The IP address from which you have visited the Network Solutions Registrar WHOIS
database is contained within a list of IP addresses that may have failed
to abide by Network Solutions' WHOIS policy
. Failure to abide by this policy can
adversely impact our systems and servers, preventing the processing of
other WHOIS requests.

If this happened once or twice, it would still be bad, but every week is getting old.

Attempts to ping kjcgames.com = 4 pacs sent 4 received, however a TTL lost in transit warning.

Really messes up doing your turn... and no smile.gif , suggesting doing them earlier is not an answer. Issue needs to be addressd.

The message is saying Registar.com's ip has been blacklisted by network solutions (who are the registar for kjcgames) if you use a different whois service you don't get this problem and get the information you'd expect.

If when you try the ping command the ip is resolved as 84.92.1.5, which is force9's cgi server, then the dns is working correctly and it's some kind of routing problem. Either way it's most likely something between your gateway/router/pc (depending how you connect) and your ISP. I find 90%ish of lookup problems are here.
