	The PIR GP thread made me realize a possible way to identify the true affiliation of pirates: Send a message to a PIR position and check the "confirm" box. The result should nicely print the owning political position, along with his affiliation. This even allows to pin the pirate down to a particular player. I have not tried if this actually works. It is easy enough to remedy: Don't allow message confirmations if the message is sent to a pirate position.

	I did a test run sending a message to the PIR GP that had nobbled an outpost of mine and it did work, I got the owners political position details back. Not a big deal in this case as the flagging bug had already told me. I am assured that this has now been fixed so the "owner" is not revealed. Geoff

	I still haven't tried it. But if it has been resolved then why has this tread not been moved to 'Fixed Bugs'? Mica/David?
