Sent several ships to collect some blueprints.

1 picked up 10 blueprints and stopped, saying:

Error - No life-support space left in ship.

(more blueprints left at starbase (well at least one) and lots more cargo space left in ship but only 77 life support)

next ship picked up 1 blueprint with no error.

Another picked up none but gave life-support error.

And yet another gave an error that there were no blueprints but didn't mention life-support.

(I was using pickup item type order)

I have found some blueprints and techs are lifeforms. Try the tech manual.

Oh. Really? Thanks I will. (Does that make any sense?)

I suppose it depends on the blueprint - I can think of several lifeform or organically related blueprints that it might make sense for

or it could just be a bug cool.gif

Quite often seeding programs require life (no point in planting frozen peas).

A Hive Queen blueprint requires life (it does incorporate a large sentient creature capable of laying eggs at the end of the day).
