I tried to ignore it, but it's annoying me now.

The parser appears to working fine (still that problem with system.htm/system_links.htm, but that's fixable in the parser.cfg) - planets and systems getting added, mapped etc.

But then, when I go to data - systems, I get a blank page (well, it's black with Systems data in white at the top, but no systems listed).

As far as I can tell this is generated from within the program so I can't see what's going on.

I'd guess it looks at the systems in the data.cfg and they are all there too.

Help?

I'm having a lot of trouble when I find new asteroids too. I'll issue a scan system order, run the parser. But, it doesn't always update correctly. Sometimes, it just flat-out refuses to update with newly discovered Asteroids. They go into the information database okay, but they don't appear on my system maps.

Try opening the system.htm file in the system folder (in GameData), see if they are on there.

The parser seems to update that file but links everything to system_links.htm

If you find that they are getting added to system and not system_links, try a search & replace in parser.cfg (replace "system.htm" with "system_links.htm") Then rename all system.htm files to system_links.htm (manually unfortunately)

(oops, sorry, I clicked edit on your post not quote, didn't realise until I'd posted my bit and deleted your last line. My mistake... sad.gif
