Hi,

I am finding that the parser will not update system or planet maps. Is there any way to delete old system or planet maps without wrecking the whole thing? I've tried deleting the relevant file and re-parsing but that does not work.

Any help appreciated.

In the running directory (c:/program files/skeletal/phoenix) there is a GameData directory with al the system data in it. Each system has a directory and each planet is a file in that directory. If you want to remove a file in the system you can just move it somewhere else for safe keeping and rerun the parser.

For some reason when I open the planet maps the parser has created the graphics for the sectors are not displayed.

Could someone let me know where they should be and where I can download them?

Cheers,

I thought they came as part of the offline order editor installation.

I have tried that and it does not work. If the planets file is removed and the parser run then it does not create a new file. The link just gives a "page not found" warning. Does the parser not create a blank file for each planet once the system scan has been completed?

I have even copied the planet file and then deleted all data from the source code so it resembles a planet that has not been scanned yet. Again there is no change in the planet map. The parser simply refuses to update the file.

I'll have a lok at the code.
