| Been caught on this one a few times, so you'd think I'd have learnt by now! If you start a set of orders for a ship then use the "Load" button to import a set of complex orders, the password for that position is unset ("No password set"). If I input the orders manually then the default password would have been included with them automatically, but for some reason importing a set of orders (which don't include any password data btw) seems to cause it problems. Feature or bug? | |

| 'Load' the orders in the turn and 'Finish' it, then double click the orders again (to open them up) and 'Finish' them once more. This updates the password field in the orders section. I've been caught out by this a couple of times myself, but noticed the above when fiddling around | |

| Yes, I find I have to load orders in, and then come out of the order editor, then go back into those order and back out for the password to be taken! Also (and I guess this should be in a feature wish list thread), I think it would be nice to have a "Load and append orders", as in I could have sections of usful orders saved, like move to planet orbit, wait for x tus, move to wormhole, enter wormhole, move to planet orbit, wait for x tus. I could then write some turn specific orders, then append those saved orders, and then add some more turn specific orders at the end. It would just save having to write those few turns over and over for different ships, on different routes, but all having to traverse, (in this instance), the wormhole. At the moment the order editor wipes out any orders that you have already written when you do a 'Load Orders'. Sees With Knowledge | |

| You can kind of do so, again as a work around - open the saved order .cfg file in notepad, chop the orders you want to copy to a different set - then open the other orders and paste where relevent. Again, it isn't pretty - but it works. |
