Squadron orders come to a crashing halt when a ship other than the lead ship runs out of TU's.

From the turn of the lead ship (Duke of Rutland, 96913), running squadron orders:
CODE
>TU 250: Maintenance Complex Visit

5 basic hull patches were used.
   Ship integrity restored to 100%
The following ships have ran out of tus:
       Hainan Thunder (46892)
Total TU cost for this action is 250 (229 TUs lost due to slower ships).

>>Turn Stopped:

There is an error in your pending orders. Your need to clear/correct your
pending orders before another turn will be processed.

Yet on the turn report of the culprit (Hainan Thunder, 46892):

CODE
>TU 250: Maintenance Complex Visit

95 basic hull patches were used.
   Ship integrity restored to 100%
Total TU cost for this action is 250 (229 TUs lost due to slower ships).

[snip]

| Efficiency: 150%                      TUs left: 0 tus                        |

So because the ship running the orders is not the slowest in the squadron for the relevant order (maintenance in this case, because the second ship has heavy hulls, while the former has normal), the remaining pending orders stop working.

This is as it should be, if you were moving and one ship ran out of TUs and the rest continued your squadron could get severely split up.

The TUs available for a squadron are the lowest individual ship TUs.

The turn stopping is completely correct.

The orders hanging, in that I need to send in another turn myself for an update before the pending orders will continue running, is not. i.e. the pending orders will not automatically run when the lead ship reaches 240 TU's, because of that last report.
