	Hi! I've tried this two times with the same result: >Date 49.3: Empower Officer {26725} {1} Error - There is no officer on this ship. This action cost you 100 stellars I have double checked that I actually have a civilian officer on the ship. Or should I enter #1 instead of just 1?

	I'd have assumed the ship position and #1 rather than 1. If that doesn't work I'll sell you an officer or two

	#1 is correct - you need to use the hash as well to identify an officer in any orders... Dan
