I had one squadron run today on single printout orders.
The lead ship's officer gained experience twice during that turn, but no other officer.
Coincidence? Bug? False report on account of squadron orders?

I generally run my squadrons on single printout and if I don't remember wrong I have gained experience points in other ships than the lead ship.

I never use the single print-out option. You never know what one ship in a squadron might spot, and never see if you don't get the turn. smile.gif

That is actually wrong. You just get all the info on a single printout.

I am a bit concerned over the appallingly slow rate at which Civilian Officers gain experience. It appears to be turn based with the probability biased towards not getting any.

I would prefer it to be linked to turn length - ie over 200 TUs and the Civilian officer gains a point. Alternatively tweak the probabilities towards gaining experience points when the ship is run.

At present it would appear that one training session per year, once the first three are done, would be a sort of average result.
