I have heard of players mentioning that they can tell when their ships move by using the Online Order Editor. I always use the offline editor, but since I have common problems with my turns getting in on time (waiting till the last minute to do them seems to be the most common problem), it would be nice to be able to see if my turns were received since I don't always get the messages.

How do you tell if your ships moved using the Online Order Editor? I have never seen anything specifying location of ships or anything there and must just be missing it.

Thanks.

There is an information section within the online order editor. I think it may only be for players who have politicals.

That would explain why I can't see it. Thanks Rich.

This is one of the features of having an political. It also shows what you are mining, your efficiency (of the outpost and ships) and the current stock of the items resourced. For the outposts the information is quite extensive.

For ships is shows most of the ship info (like speed, location, integrity, lifeforms used and cargo space used).

For me it makes running my positions much easier, I just check which ships have got enough tu's to bother running them..

The online order editor and it's information page is how I run all of my positions in Phoenix.

I use the OLE to identify the positions that need action and enter the turns while at work (during lunchtime... honest!)...

If the turns need fine tuning I can change them when i get home later that evening... but most of the work is done (so this only takes about 30mins of time... which keeps the wife happy!).

Without the Information page and the OLE I would have sutopped playing Phoenix over a year ago... or would have had too seriously reduce the number of positions that I run.

The information page is essential! Which means that a ploitical position is essential!

Thanks Sjaak and Doug for the information. I didn't realize all this and will probably have to find a way to afford that darn political cost now :-)

Thanks again for explaining this for me. I appreciate it.

Nothing wrong with that! I need to find someone who will pay me to play Phoenix. Then the failing US Dollar won't be hurting me so bad biggrin.gif
