Yesterday, my pending orders on one of my ships looked like this: | 1. Start Squadron Orders {No} | 2. Move to Starbase {A} {No} | 3. Pickup {...} {...} {...} {} {No} | 4. Wait for Tus {230} {No} | 5. Move to Starbase {B} {No} (etc) | 27. End Squadron Orders | 28. Wait for Tus {1} {No} Today, the ship did the following: >TU 74: Start Squadron Orders {No} ... (...) Squadron: [some ships] >TU 74: Move to Starbase {A} {Dock - No} [movement and scans] >TU 52: Pickup {...} {...} {...} {} {Install - No} [pickup messages] >TU 39: Move to Starbase {B} ...ie, it seems to have ignored the Wait for TUs order! (Argh!)

wait for 1TU? And I think you need to have it on the forefront of the list instead of at the end

wait for tus < 60 means you will get an update everyday till that wait is hit. the fact it didn't wait for the 230 is probably a bug (unless having multiple waits does soemthing) Two of my ships waited for tus correctly todate however.

This is a known bug and was covered in a lengthy thread elsewhere: For printout purposes, a ship will always respond to the *lowest* Wait for TUs order in the stacked turns. If you have, say, Wait for TUs: 200 and somewhere down the list a Wait for TUs: 60 then you will get a printout every day. And every day the first order will be to wait until 200 TUs were accumulated. If there is only one Wait for TUs order somewhere in the pending orders stack then the ship will update accordingly. This could lead to problems if you expected the ship to end its turn in a location and continue only on 240+ TUs. Since some people (myself included) feel that this can be a useful feature the general consensus was to leave things as they are here.

I think the point was it didn't wait for this first wait order to be completed, he only had 39 tus.

Yes, that's a "bug" I know of and like; you'll see I take advantage of it with the "Wait for 1 TU". The problem is that it seems to have also ignored the larger wait order for the purposes of movement.

When using squadrons use the following to get around the bug : Orders..... End Squadron Orders Wait for TU..... Start squadron orders orders.... This works really well as long as you know how long the orders will take. Andy |
