| When you do a detailed scan of a position you are now told what the maximum number of boarders are (for any given time I assume). For any position that can be boarded should this information not be provided as part of the basic results? Otherwise you have to do a detailed scan of your own position to find out how many boarders could be used to attack you. | |||

| No it should not. You would want to do a detailed scan to find out the full specification of the ship and it's occupants and therefore how many boarders you need. You can still board the ship without the detailed scan - just chuck an extra 1000 troops at it - that'll work | |||

Have you missed my point? I may not have been clear. Currently max boarders is only given when you do a detail scan of a position. As the owner of a ship/platform I think I would know how many enemy boarders could be used against me without my having to do a detailed scan of my own ship/platform using another position. Yes, you should have to do a detailed scan of an "enemy" position to see how many troops you can use against it, I'm not wanting that to change in any way.

| Is the number always the same? or does the ship doing the scanning contain variables that can influence the maximum number of boarders against a given position? | |||

Yep I missed the point. You should know how many boarders can be used against you on your own positions.

In the next update (next week) this will be included on a boarding defence report. |
