Howdy, I have been trying in vain to build HLQ battleships over the past 5 weeks and to no avail: Ship yards are building HLQ Battleship (772): Removing materials: Insufficient ship hulls, building later. 200 Armour Plates (450) The trouble is I have the heavy hulls available for 3 Battleships and they simply wont build. Any help?? Cheers Brett

How many blueprints do you have? I believe each blueprint only adds 20 ship hulls per week. Hence, for a 100 hulled ship, one blueprint would take 5 weeks to build. Could be your problem?

Could be that you need the 200 Armour Plates before building will start?!?! Do you have this...? ![]()

I think you need all the hulls and all the armour for a ship before it starts to build. Hulls + Armour are considered to be the ship structure and cannot be changed after the ship is built. Everything else can be removed/replaced/changed. You can get away without having the internal items but not the structure at the start of the ship building project.

Stupid question I know, but best to cover all possibilities: are you sure that design uses heavy hulls?

As with any production order, when it fails it will tell you what you are short of in order to build the product... 200 Armour Plates (450) Once you have the armour you will be able to build your ships... You could grant me the chance to buy one from you for my help if you like... ![]()

What he should be getting is something like this though. Ship yards are building Battleship (XXX): Removing materials: 100 Heavy Hull (80) Insufficient armour, building later. So not sure whats goign on, I seem to have the same problem with one of my starbases as well. Cheers Phil

Howdy, This has been fixed. It was due to the fact that the HLQ BP had Heavy Hulls MK II as its basic hull type. It was not converted over. Apparently the AFT Carrier is having the same problems. Cheers for all the input though Brett ![]()
