Hi, I've had a special action pending for a ship that is in battle. The ship has 300TUs and has been in battle for three days but the special action has not run. The special action was sent as an only order on the second day of battle but was not run then either. Nic

I've noticed that the same thing happens during Ground Combat as well - try inserting an order to clear the Target and Locked Lists before the pending SA and issue an update. Not sure if it'll work, but it's worth a try... ![]() Cheers, Rich Fanning aka ![]() Lord Lawrence Scrimm CIA Intelligence Director

If in a battle then it is very likely that the actions of the position will be halted for the battle and orders are set as pending. This means that the special action will not be processed. Normally this is a good thing as many player's special actions in battle tend to be a little dubious e.g. "get close to the mother-ship and set to ramming speed" or try to circumvent normal combat routines, "try to target the enemy targeting computers" which is something that the programs just don't do. A final favourite is a special action by an admiral to give an order to change every ship's combat settings - only a few hours work! ![]() |
