I issued a Create Squadron order, and instead of creating a new squadron, it renamed one of my existing ones.

Can you be more specific - like at lest a few lines from the turn. Edit - Ok we found it but currently i have no clue why ..... when i did the same nothing went wrong. I will ponder what to do.

Hi. two problems!! 1)I ordered my political to create a squadron, then sequenced a lot of ships after the political to join squadron, but I got >TU 228: Join Squadron {XXXX} Error - No squadron could be found corresponding to xxxxx. Edited the name! ![]() 2)Ordered a ship to join an existing squadron and got >TU 300: Join Squadron {xxxx} Error - No squadron could be found corresponding to xxxx. Again I've edited the name. ![]()

I had similar problems but waiting a couple of days until I knew the squadron numbers. Using the number to join the ships worked fine. Geoff

we found out what was wrong with this - someone disbanded their squadron (1) and the effect was to disband all squadron ones. So it was not a rename, it was a recreation.... As for names being used i will have a look....

would that be the same reason one of my ships is in a squadron owned by another rip player? considering the turn update before it was in my squadron, in both cases it's squadron (1)
