I thought it was FETs way of controlling its players ph34r.gif

I have moved my political position to other players' starbases without him being arrested.

Definitely needs sorting.

It happened to my political. Created him, moved him to a nice safe DTR starbase, and he was promptly arrested and spent an amusingly long time in jail before Diaz fixed it and had him released.

It was character building, apparently.
Pride_Motnahp
That happened to my political.
I wrote some In character story for it and posted it on the felini group.

that was about november last year.

i thought that it had been fixed.

When it was "fixed" (as it was supposedly) we had to issue a free SA to get it changed from prisoner.

Try that? (Although it seems to show that the initial bug is still there, or there was some special cicumstance for this particular political)

newly created political position

It may have been created with the prisonner flag - depending on the item it came from. I have sorted that out but it may not be the only problem

mine happened when i delivered my political from a ship to a base.

I checked the code for the move and the politicals are uneffected unless they have [AFF_NAME] stuck after their name. It seems there were set up like this and only starbases have a section for prisonners (specifically) ie you can not see the difference on ships.
