Have made a search of the forum and can not see this has been raised previously. Apologies if it has.

Under the 'Sent Turns' tab my ship and outpost names have not been updated, really confusing for me as I am a relatively new player sad.gif The ship names elsewhere in the editor are fine.

i have three new ships that i have taken over and they too are keeping their original names on the online editor.

The names change after a while - not sure exactly, but they do change.

Eg, when you get a new ship, it starts off as NEW SHIP on the editor.

After a turn or so has been processed, it changes to the name you gave it.

I find it changes on the drop down list but not always on the sent turns list (even after you've sent more turns)

HI Guys

Just gone through my turns and names have been wrong since the following dates:-

17/01/2005
18/02/2005
28/02/2005
17/03/2005;

with regular turns for each since those dates.

It only writes the name into the active turn when you add the turn. If you have one ship you could just leave that initial turn in the list and never delete it (deleting the orders instead). This would leave the name unchanged.

i've got positions with old names after sending in new turns (my account is ptb/at/raegunne/dot/com) my turn sent list for monday includes a position being updated which has had turns issued a number of times and was renamed a while ago now.

The text for the 'turn list' is copied from the position list (the drop down) when you initally add the turn. If you delete it and readd the name will change. I can link it if its a major issue.

David, are we on the same wave length; perhaps I did not make my self clear in the original post sad.gif

When viewing the sent turns list, 5th tab from left, original names are listed in most cases. Are they not linked to the names in the drop down list under the turns tab (1).

Sorry to be a pain, but life would be easier if I could instantly recognise the ship/outpost from its name rather than the item number.

I'm not sure what you mean, I've cleared the turns and added new turns.

The turns in the "Turns" tab are fine and with the correct name however, after they are sent, on the "Sent Turns" they show the incorrect/old name (although only for some positions not all)

ok i will have a look at that today - see if it is keeping old data. However it will just keep the old name if it has not been sent after you changed it.
