i am finding that when i have quite a few orders listed, and i click the sequence turns tab my editor crahses, which is a big git as i had just finished all my turns and had to do them all again, if i omnly have a few turns done i can sequence no problem, havent had this problem before

I've just had the same problem.

First time I did orders with the new offline editor I had ticked the 'sort turns' in the file menu. This made my whole sequence of orders to run sorted by the editor (not as I had sequenced them). Needless to say it caused a mess of my results as outposts tried to build mines before modules was delivered etc.

Now I remove the 'sort turns' flag and when I tried to sequence my turns the program crashed. Twice in a row. After that I just sent in my orders unsequenced.

It would be good if this could be fixed otherwise I will go back to the old editor.

Had the same yesterday, after issuing some 57 orders.

David,

I have a zipped up 500Kb copy of my editor folder that crashes every time you right click to sequence if you'd like it sent.

It was sequencing fine as I had been in and out a few times and then it became unusable and crashed.

Does anyone knows how to Autorise an pickup for an officer now???

I tried the #1 but the issue autorise-order doesn't accept it.

Are these freshly added turns, from a blank or are they old turns that have been edited ? If they are old turns you need to delete the current.trn and be awair that any old orders you bring up may be 'bad'.

Also did the order editor 'lock up' or did it crash ?
Gandolph
it crashed, and i lost the data that i had done

all new turns, nothing edited, all turns cleared first

If i can get an example of this sequence crash i should beable to fix it. If its a 'lock up' ie the program just stops working, until it stays 'not responding' then its a different issue, which i may have fixed.

No - I should have got a fix for them, its just i needed to know what was causing it. If it is that i can do anther version when i have sorted another crash and it should be ok.
Nik
Certainly this is why I found the editor to crash when trying to sequence.

If you manually edit the loaded files, there will be a sequence=..... if yo ur replace teh really large number with zero they will work.

I will have a new version out as soon as i track down another problem.
