Do combat shuttles have to be dropped off in orbit of a planet or can they be used from the same space quadrant as the planet and move into orbit?

Answer:
As all shuttles have manoeuvering speeds they can operated into the orbital quadrant.
This example shows a GP taking off, leaving orbit and entering the orbital quadrant. From here it then enters another world. In some cases where there are two planets within the same orbital quadrant, the GP could have entered either world once it was no longer in orbit, even though they were not linked.
