I know this may sound dumb, but when a planetary report says the demand for lifeforms is xxx, is that any life froms or is it 'intelligent' forms --
such as:
Human
Feline
Kastorian etc...

[with some doubts within these groups wink.gif ]

Any Lifeforms - such as Alien Pets, Alien Livestock, etc...

I think Mr Fanning is having a slight breakdown there.... Or I am blink.gif

Do you mean
QUOTE

TRADE                      DEMAND (mus)  VALUE (Stellars)    CURRENT
Trade Goods                  100                    2                      2
Drugs Demand                10                      1                      1
Lifeform Demand            200                    0.5                    0.5

If so, then you need to read Lifeform Demand as Infrastructure Demand...
It includes many things that can be used to increase the planets infrastructure, such as Civillians, Livestock, Crops.....
If you issue a TechManual for the item, it will tell you what the item type is.

NOTE: Lifeform demand is NOT the same as LIVING! Just because it is alive, does NOT make it an Infrastructure item!! And vice-versa.

Alien Pets are NOT a life/infrastucture item
Alien Prize Cattle ARE life/infrastructure

Seed Wheat is NOT LIVING, but IS and Life/Infrastructure item!!
Chirruping Newts ARE LIVING, but NOT life/infrastructure items!

Human Civillians ARE life/infrastructure!
Pleasure Slaves are NOT

Hope that helps!

Again...

Thanks to all.
