When you send in a Market Sell or Buy instruction you can tell if it has gone through correctly when the Market webpages are updated the next day. However, if you are doing something on the private market you don't know if you've messed up until the next print day - or until you get someone asking why their transaction failed.

Would a webpage, similar to the Systems page, where entering a password for that market (known by the starbase owner) showed the private market as well as the public market be possible?

just always add "request update" when you later private markets. at least i find that works well enough wink.gif

private market listings might be nice for other reasons though, say you had an affilation wide private market or something.

Yes.

Updates are free for starbases but not outposts. Outposts can't have a market though.

Great - I was thinking that was going to cost me a couple of quid each time.

I'll do that then - cheers biggrin.gif
