10 basic
5 industrial
10 military
Ro'a-lith
For those that need it:

Starbase Shield (1026) - 1000 mus
Industrial turbines are used to power the field generators in order to bolster normal shields.

Build Requirement:
5 Industrial Modules (400)
10 Military Modules (405)
10 Basic Modules (410)
Active work hours: 500
Inactive work hours: 50

A bit more detail:-

Starbase Shield (1026) - 1000 MUs. When you have active shield complexes and have your shields charged (Charge shield complex order), then you will not fire weapons from the starbase (or launch space fighters). The shield complexes will strengthen the shields and shield rechargers at from between x1-5, and add between 0-200 shield depth. You need 10% shield complexes to get the full effect. Shield complexes take 4 weeks to charge to full effect after they are activated. They are also very visible on a starbase and can not be hidden by caves when they are active. Does this mean that you need 1 starbase shield complex for every 10 complexes at the base (10% that you refer to).

To get the full effect, yes.... but you get a partial effect for less, with +50 shields and add one to the charge multiplier for each 2.5% (on a sliding scale between those values)

You need to calculate the 10% based on the total number of complexes including the starbase shields. For every 10 starbase shields you need a and extra starbase shied.

The 10% figure, that includes cave complexes, right?

As far as I am aware all complexes - caves, command, domes and even closed complexes. Basically 1 shield complex for every 9 other types of complex (i.e. 10% of total complexes) will give the maximum bonus if charged for 4 weeks.

This is correct - tested when I upgraded by bases with starbase shields.
