What does the term "Employee (Efficient)" mean? I know normal employees aren't but they state they generate the same amount of workhours.

Good question.

Where did you read that term? It may be of help to know so that we could analyze it in context.

On a techmanual for some monks. I assume brotherhood monks although why they'd be working at a rip outpost I don't know, but we accept all types smile.gif

I know human employees have type employee (normal), but both do 50 hours of work and both cost 1$ in wages.

Phanali are also noted as "efficient".
I don't positively know what this means but I presume these will not suffer efficiency drop when underpaid.

I assume they still 'quit' when underpaid though?

Also what actually happens to employees that quit because they seem to just vanish.
Clay
When they quit, the idea is that they re-join the general planetary population, but until the infrastructure update, they do indeed vanish - same as sacking personel or selling civvies to the population.

I once fouled up a change in employee pay and had half the employees leave. This was on an otherwise uninhabited world without a breathable atmosphere ohmy.gif

I hate to think where they went to.
