We will start late Monday morning. While our ISP have professed to have the work completed by 7am, our faith is not as keen. dry.gif We also strongly advise players to send turns in on Saturday if possible.

Email Service Update
We have now received confirmation from our suppliers regarding the previously announced work to upgrade our storage system. The upgrade is required to resolve the underlying issues that customers may intermittently be experiencing in the following areas:

* Slow mail authentication or timeouts when collecting mail via POP3.
* Email delivery delays.
* Slow and intermittent access to Webmail on the portal.
* Customer websites hosted on the homepages server loading slowly.
* Slow authentication when logging into FTP on the homepages server.

The upgrades are being performed by the hardware suppliers and will commence during the evening of Sunday the 22nd of February. The work will be completed before 7AM that Monday morning. This is the earliest maintenance window possible and the work schedule has been planned in order to cause minimum disruption to users of our service.

We would like to thank customers for their patience during this period and will be providing more details about the specific impact of this work during next week. We would assure users that we will continue to monitor the situation closely and do intend to take further steps to improve the performance of the storage system in the short term. We do however envisage that customers will continue to experience some peak-time problems in the areas specified above until the storage upgrades are completed.

With Regards,
