	Can you create a platform without creating a platform control complex? The reason is that if a Starbase already has a couple of platform control complexes then you probably no not want to have any more of them.

	(sorry if this is not quite related to this topic, but the Forum wouldnt allow me to create a new topic in the Platforms area). Is a Platform targetted first by enemy ships attacking a starbase, or do some still ignore the platform and fire straight at the starbase? Or is there a priority order - such as fire at enemy ships, then platforms, then starbase? Mark

	If you had a general enemy lists of ALL XXX, your ships currently look for the fastest XXX position that they can pin (and that is not already pinned) and then attack that position. This means that platforms and starbases that have no speed, are usually ignored unless your admirals have specifically targetted them or your ships are slow. There is meant to be an order to preference different position types but this does not appear to work. In general, whether you attack platforms or starbases is up to the enemy lists that your admirals have. If you want to ignore all positions except the starbase just add the starbase to the admiral list. Hope that helps
